Got my own OKR for the term which I honestly wasn't expecting. Ran 3 user research sessions on my own and presented findings to a VP, more responsibility than I thought they'd hand an intern. NYC office is solid, intern class was huge, and I still keep in touch with people I met there.
The UX research access is something you can't replicate anywhere else. Had a dedicated researcher on my project who could run a study with real users in 48 hours. That kind of feedback loop changes how you design. My project touched the search results page which is used by billions of people, hard to wrap your head around.
Had a Maps feature ship to prod before I left, which was the main thing. Free food is as good as people say, work-life balance was better than I expected. Host engineer was solid, gave thorough code reviews without making me feel dumb.
